Acts 4:12 “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.”
Modern day theology suggests many different ways to heaven such as: good works, going to church, or giving to the poor. Salvation is only found in coming into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He is the only way to heaven! If you have never given your life to Christ, my prayer is that you will give your entire life over to the Lord because He has a plan for your life!
Romans 10: 10 “For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved”
ONE HEARTBEAT AWAY
“And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment.” Hebrews 9:27
Did you know that you are going to die? That is right. Please do not think I am trying to be discouraging, instead, I would like to encourage you. Each of our lives will one day come to an end. Regardless of how much money you pour into making yourself healthier or younger, you will die. Many appointments can be changed such as a doctor, dentist, or business appointment; however, the divine death appointment that has been made for you is impossible to miss. You will be there!
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23
Sin is anything that goes against God’s word and ultimately separates us from God. God is a Holy God who despises the presence of sin; therefore, we all deserve to die and spend an eternity in hell. God’s standard is perfection and we are unable to meet this qualification. The GOOD NEWS is there is someone who met this perfect qualification for you.
“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23
Jesus was born of a virgin and lived on this earth for 33 years. His life was sinless. He was beaten and had a crown of thorns shoved on His head. His side was pierced, nails were driven through His hands and feet on a Cross, and He died. He was buried and on the third day He rose from the dead JUST FOR YOU!Jesus suffered for all of our sins upon a rugged Cross. Because of this, you can be set free.
“Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.” Romans 10:9-10
Salvation is found by no other means than the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. There are many who trust their good works, baptism, or church membership to be sufficient for their eternal inheritance.Jesus Christ is the only way anyone will ever have an eternal life with God in heaven.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son that whoever believes in him will not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
God sent His one and only Son to this earth to die for your sins. All of your mess-ups, shortcomings, and failures, Christ died for. Regardless of where you have been, what you have said, or what you have done, the love of an Almighty God is available to you through a personal relationship with Christ. The exciting part is we do not have to live up to any standard for God’s love.God’s grace offers the gift of eternal life freely.
“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.Not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9
“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’” John 14:6
Jesus is the only way to heaven. The above passage says that one must believe. I have spoken with many who say they believe in God; however, Scripture explains there is no difference between them and Satan and his demons. The word “believe” means much more. To believe means to place all of your heart, soul, and mind into something or someone. To believe is to trust and surrender your life.
“You believe that God is one; you do well.Even the demons believe—and shudder!” James 2:19
“No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.” Luke 13:3
Repentance has held a slight negative overtone for too long. Repentance is a privilege and honor. The word “repent” means “to turn away from” or “to be sorry for” or “to go in a different direction.” The Lord is giving us the opportunity to turn away from our sins and allow him to forgive them. If the Lord did not allow us to repent of our sins, we would suffer an eternity in hell. You do not have to be depressed or hopeless any longer. God wants you to repent of your sins and trust in the Gospel which is Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection. If you ask for forgiveness and believe in the true Gospel, Jesus says that He will save you.
